I purchased a red chevy aveo hatchback ls. With todays current gas prices it takes about $25-$30 to fill the tank. I commute to work about 20-25 miles each way to work. That full tank last about 3 to 4 days of the work week which is not bad at all. I do lots of highway driving. The car feels great on the highway. It handles really well. The engine maybe a little loud at times on the highway. But overall a great ride. Despite the cars smalls size, it has a wealth of cabin space. The car doesn't feel small at all on the inside. I'm 5'8 and very very big boned, yet I still have plenty of room. Even with a passenger there is still room. The trunk space can seem limited at times when I go grocery shopping. But both backseats fold down, so its no problem. The stereo system sounds great at high and low volumn, great CD player. The seats are comfortable and the a/c is cold!
I really like the Chevy Aveo. It has been a great little car so far. It gets great gas mileage and runs like a champ.
The Aveo has it's good and it's bad. The Aveo LS has performed well and the only issue I have with it, is that the cup holders are flimsy and it desperately needs a middle console in the car. The gas milage is good, but the tank is small and it only goes 250 miles on a tank of gas. Sometimes while the car sits at an idol, the car seems to idol a little rough, but it runs good on the highway. Outside and inside design is pretty well thought out. It is roomy for a little car. But i will say it again. The car needs better cupholders and a better location for them and a middle console. so far I like the Aveo LS and it gets me where I need to go.You get what you pay for and for the price of the Aveo LS, so far it has been a reliable car and that is all that matters with any car at any price. The Aveo LS doesn't have perks, but it is a perky car that travels well.
