My first good car

As a recent college grad, I was looking for something cheap, reliable, efficient, with low miles, and on top of all that I wanted a stick shift. Enter my Chevy Cobalt. I was asking for alot and got it all. My 5 speed averages over 31 mpg, but also has decent acceleration and speed. It won't win any drag races, but it's great at passing on the freeway and when I need a quick boost from an already high sustained speed, I'd swear I was driving a v-6 (my model has the larger engine, but still a 4-banger). It is also very roomy, the adjustable seat belt is nice for a lil' guy like me, the heater's good (important in Wisconsin!), and the XM radio is freakin' sweet. The safety features are also very comprehensive and give me peace of mind. You won't find any bells and whistles (mine doesn't even have power windows-but that's for lazy people anyway) but it's a very good value for the money-I recommend it.

Way better than the Cavalier

I'm not an expert and I don't own a cobalt, but I will soon enough. However, the weekend I did spend in the vehicle proved to be an exciting experience. It accelerated faster than expected, it was smooth, and above all, it was worth the money. I hear people claiming that it whines at high speeds and labors to produce power yet I beg to differ. Well, I'll remind you again in a few weeks when you see me waving at you on the highway.

Great car

I absolutely adore this car. I've had it since september, and the number of complaints I have are minimal at best. Those would be, no real center console so I have nowhere to rest my arm while driving, and no cruise control. The lack of automatic locks and windows is more of a blessing to me than anything, keeps me attentive and I don't have to worry about my window falling off the track so easily. Actually, my biggest complaint would be trunk size. I play bass in a band, and I cannot fit it in the trunk. I have to actually stand it up in the backseat. But that's what happens when you have a small car. ON TO THE GOOD! The amount of information available in the display (tire pressure, real time gas mileage, est. distance remaining gas will get me, ect) is insanely useful. The car itself is quite comfortable, runs extremely well (even at already 50k miles), and has just enough get up and go for me. The gas mileage is also QUITE excellent! Overall, I am extremely pleased with this car.
