2007 Chevrolet CobaltAprill C - Jasper, GA09/07/2010
The one word I can use to describe this car is "Spunky"!
It's a great ride and I am really enjoying it.
I bought the LS model which has a 5-speed manual transmission. The little car has great get-up-and-go.
I live about 20 miles from where I work and I am loving the money I'm saving on gas. (I get about 30-34 miles to the gallon.)
I really like the color--it's a blue that changes to purple in different light.
It's also big enough for the carseat for my 3 yr old son. And let me tell you, he REALLY likes the car! Always wants to go for a ride!
I'd recommend this car to anyone!
2006 Chevrolet CobaltLemon - Midwest06/23/2010
I bought this car new in summer 2006. The finance man at the dealer tried to sell me extra warranty coverage, but I declined. Guess he knew something I didn't. After a few months there was a powertrain problem, then problems with getting the key out of the ignition when the car was turned off, problem with something clanking as I turned the wheel to the right, the radio began acting wonky in the first year (would work sometimes, sometimes not), problem with the regular speed of the wipers acting like it was set on intermittent (IT WAS NOT!), then just a few days ago the transmission control module went on the fritz. The folks at the dealer are wonderful and have fixed everything promptly, but the car I got has been trouble off and on from day one. I've never had a GM car this much trouble. When the tranny module was replaced the other day they also put in a new radio. Now I have trouble with getting the CD to eject. I'll never put another CD into that thing. It's garbage. Most of the other reviews look pretty good. Guess I got the only lemon of this particular car. UGH!
Wonderful car at a great price
