The Colbalt is an overall great car. It isn't necessarily the zippiest, but it is fun to drive and gets pretty good mileage. The interior is comfortable and has excellent safety features. I would recommend it to anyone. I have the 2LT with sunroof and would definitely suggest those upgrades for the "fun" factor and the extras. Having a USB input for an ipod is nice. The windshield is perfect for mounting a GPS. I also absolutely love having remote start. OnStar is wonderful for peace of mind. And the XM free trial is a lot of fun as well. My only complaints so far are that there isn't much storage around the driver, and there is no lock on the glove box. Also, the speedometer isn't very bright during overcast days or dawn or dusk, it's good at night and during daylight. These few things are easily forgiven because of it's other great features. It's a great car!
After two plus months of having my 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT with me, life has changed in another sense. It is a nice vehicle one could rely on at every time of the day or night knowing how perfect it runs. As of highway mileage it could not offer more than just saving gas for its owner for being a 4 cylinder car. I would not trade it for any other make or model yet, I will keep it until probably the next 2 or 3 years by always taking care of him.
The car has fairly low milage still it has some gas efficiency issues.. my tank or exhaust had an issue when I bought it.. drove it around for a week before finding out. It's a good car for the price and low miles. It also has a smoky windshield.
