Customer Review Summary for 2009 Chevrolet Corvette
2009 Chevrolet CorvetteFlyBoy - Denver, CO10/27/2012
I've owned one of each edition during my lifetime, except the C5
series. I've also owned Nissan "Z" cars, MGs, and even an Austin Healy 3000 and a Mustang. Corvette is my car of choice and the C6 series is without a doubt the best one ever.
As for performance, handling, appeal and just about all-around fun to drive, I can't think of anything I'd rather own. In addition to some upgrades from the factory, I've also added some tasteful, understated, after-market goodies to personalize the car and have gotten raves at various times just cruising down the street.
I wouldn't trade my Vette for a Viper or even a Ferrari

It is a great car, it is even better when the top is down, love the performance. It is everything I expected, will probably buy another one later from Carmax

I took my time buying this car. I shopped Porsche (Boxer and 911), Jaguar, Mercedes, Nissan (370Z). I wanted a car that had a high performance level, comfortable for 2-people; as well as having some type of open air driving experience. This car was really fast and reasonably comfortable, and--contrary to what some Porsche snobs say--it handles well (yes, I have driven and have owned a Porsche). Plus, it has decent fuel economy and the maintenance costs are not astronomical.
Pure and simple, a car like this is a toy. A toy that you can occasionally take you to work. I am not a racer per say, but I love to take it to the track and do laps, and would like to do rallies and time trials. My wife and I find it great for weekend get aways,
