2011 Chevrolet CruzeDon Garvin - Irving, TX01/24/2016
The Cruze is comfortable sedan. The ride is smooth and the ergonomics for the driver are appropriate for my height (5;"6"). Compared to other sedans in its class the Cruze is very affordable. The handling is responsive and the engine is only heard during quick acceleration which is expected with smaller engines. But it even at speeds of 70 mph it handles well.
Suprised! Very suprised!

I have had quite a few cars over the years. I traded a Cadillac STS-V in for something a little more responsible. I had five cars on a list with the Chevy Cruze being the last one. I was looking for efficiency, quality, and high content. I drove the other four cars and didn't think the Cruze had a shot...but I tried it anyway. As soon as I got in it, I was suprised. The doors felt solid with a satisfying 'thunk' when they slammed shut. I started the car and had to double check if it was running...very quiet car. The quality of the materials in the cabin were as good as, if not better than, the Caddy I was trading in. As I started the test drive, the acceleration paled in comparison to the V series Cadillac but was suprisingly punchy. The turbocharged 1.4L was respectable. I pulled onto the highway and was suprised how quickly it got up to speed. 70mph was smooth and quiet! Quieter than the V...and 34mpg to boot!! The pint sized Chevy was the one I chose...hands down. I bought a maroon LTZ which came with a host of goodies to include: Remote start, back-up sensors, heated leather seats, auto A/C with cabin filters and Active Air Quality Sensors, 9 speaker Pioneer audio with USB ports and XM, Sunroof and...Onstar (which is well worth the $30 per month). Onstar has a free app for your smartphone which you can locate, lock, unlock, start, stop and send turn-by-turn navigation to via the Google maps function. It is fantastic! So far, six people have complimented me on the little Cruze and I would recommend this car to anyone! Plus...it is built in Lordstown, OH. BONUS! American built, American car. Well done, Chevy!!
Cruzin' in my cruze!

I would recommend the Cruze to someone who doesn't need much room. Someone who likes style! My Cruze handles well on the streets as well as the highway. I really like the auto stick! Makes me feel versatile when I use it! (I'm a bit of a showoff) This car is a gas saver also!!! I think I made a great choice for my budget and style! Much gratitude to my salesperson also!

Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
