My Equinox

I didn't know I was looking for my Equinox until I found it. Crazy? Yeah, I know. But my search for an affordable, attractive and dependable SUV had been diffucult to say the least. After looking at the Cherokee, Honda and other brands both domestic and imported, my nephew suggested I look at the Equinox. There was one in my price range that happened to be an '06. The prospect of buying a 5 year old car didn't appeal to me, but the car had only 45K miles on it, and I learned that the Chevy was a brand that held its' value better than most others in its' class. Also, I was very happy to do my part for the economy by buying American. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the Equinox to anyone.

Almost a 10.

HVAC controls are difficult to use with 8 buttons to change. Not easy to change HVAC modes while driving. No Bluetooth for radio, only has Aux In. Aiming ventilators is limited. Hard to get cold (or warm) air to rear seat. 3 position reclining rear seats is a total of less than 5. You are joking...right? Rear seat is very roomy. Seat comfort is good. City mpg is only fair. Long trip mpg near 34mpg at 75mph.
