My wife purchased this SUV brand new off the lot. We have had it for 3 years and the wiring has broken inside the drivers side door. The rear wiper motor has also seized. These two electrical issues have drained the battery dead which now needs replaced as well. GM has stated that due to the vehicle having more then 36,000 none of this is covered under it's warranty and are not manufacturer issues. The equinox handles well and is roomy. Fits two full sized adults along with two car seats comfortably with room for luggage, a double stoller, etc in the cargo space.
Equinox An American Revolution

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ. The value of this vehicle for the price is excellent. It is very roomy for the driver and passengers and if you need more cargo room, which it has plenty already, you can fold the second row and front passenger seats flat. The gas mileage with this small suv is quite decent with up to 24 mpg on the highway. The 3.4 liter v6 engine gets 185 horsepower which is lower than the other vehicles in its class. Chevy now has a sport model with a 3.6 liter v6 that gets 264 horsepower which is right about where the other small suv's kick out with smaller engines. The suspension on the LTZ is not all that great and can be improved, but the suspension on the sport model is definitely better and is much more tighter for a smoother ride. There is definitely room for improvement but overall I am happy with my Chevy Equinox and would recommend this vehicle to friends, family, and acquaintices. Chevy is AN AMERICAN REVOLUTION!
