2012 Chevrolet EquinoxEquinox Driver - Lancaster, PA01/01/2017
I wanted a car that would haul light duty and seat 4 adults comfortably. It also had to get good gas mileage and be reliable. This vehicle does all that I ask of it and with no fuss. The car is quick to start making heat usually just a couple of minutes to get some heat. It is a good size as in it is easy to drive and to park, but still can easily haul groceries, Christmas presents, water softener salt. I like that the hatch has room for me to stand under without hitting my head, and provides a rain shield while loading the car.
Perfect all-around entry-level SUV

This vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive. If you have driven any other late model Chevrolet you will feel right at home. It slightly longer than other SUVs in the same class, which gives the rear passengers more room (along with the adjustable seat which helps as well). I've seen other reviewers complain about lack of power, but the Equinox has plenty. I noticed a slight drop in power after filling it with $1,000 worth of IKEA furniture, but it still handled well on the interstate. If you're comparing it to a larger SUV with a powerful V6 (or even V8) then yes, it doesn't have that much power. It's all about perspective. Comparable gas mileage to other SUVs in the same class.
More for your money

I still love my Equinox. When I compare the bells and whistles to another high end SUV: you actually have more if not better. From the 2 tone leather, to the pioneer speakers, to the larger touch screen display. It's all very nice. I thought because I saw them on car lots so much was because people for rid got them, but turns out their fleet vehicles, so there are so many made. I would recommend it to anyone.
