So far this is my favorite car that I've owned in my 41 years of life. It rides very smoothly and handles very nice. It has all the bells and whistles also. Remote start, heated seats, memory seat, rear view camera, and lane departure/collision warning. The seats are very comfortable. It has plenty of leg room wherever you sit.

Perfect all-around entry-level SUV

This vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive. If you have driven any other late model Chevrolet you will feel right at home. It slightly longer than other SUVs in the same class, which gives the rear passengers more room (along with the adjustable seat which helps as well). I've seen other reviewers complain about lack of power, but the Equinox has plenty. I noticed a slight drop in power after filling it with $1,000 worth of IKEA furniture, but it still handled well on the interstate. If you're comparing it to a larger SUV with a powerful V6 (or even V8) then yes, it doesn't have that much power. It's all about perspective. Comparable gas mileage to other SUVs in the same class.
