2012 Chevrolet Captiva SportAngel Collins - Corbin City, NJ09/05/2015
When I saw this car I thought it was great and I liked the fact that I hadn't seen them or heard of them. I test drove it and it felt nice so we bought it. Boy was that a mistake! When accelerating, especially to get on the parkway it doesn't move but the tachometer goes up to 5-6 in the beginning but now goes up to 7 after 2 years. The gas mileage for this small suv is aweful eco button on or not. The radio doesn't go loud enough for my liking and the speakers are aweful. No lock button on passenger side and no air vents in the back. Freeze in the front bc it's hot in the back. Now it shuts off on its own. P0011 issue. Not good!
Perfect car for the price
2014 Chevrolet MalibuAmy Campbell - Fort Eustis, VA12/18/2017
I would recommend this car based on the size, handling and price. It feels way larger inside than similar priced cars (Civic, Focus, etc). While it does not have Bluetooth for music use it does have an aux port so I can listen to my audiobooks over the speakers. The car does have Bluetooth for hands free calling and the calls are crystal clear and the controls are easy to use. I also appreciate that the rear seats will completely fold down if I need extra trunk space (however the trunk is very large). Almost forgot... this car has a timing chain instead of a timing belt so that is one less thing we will have to be weary of as we plan on keeping this car for 150k+ miles.
What's not to like?
2015 Chevrolet TraverseLarry Richardson - Greensboro, NC11/17/2016
Our previous car was a Mazda Tribute SUV which we loved, but after inspecting and test driving the Traverse we elected to upgrade to something with more cabin space, more cargo space, more comfort, far quietly and more safety. The only thing we miss about the Mazda was the gas mileage and that's a small sacrifice to make in order to gain everything we gained from the Traverse. We have always owned Mazda in the past, but the Traverse has made us believers in American made again.
