The Chevy HHR is a very economical vehicle for its size. One of the main reasons I started looking at it was for the gas mileage. The one issue I have found with my HHR is how it handles in the snow. I believe some new tires would help the handling. It drives a lot like a car and has storage like an SUV. I have read it is considered a wagon but it doesn't have that soccer mom mini-van/station wagon feel as you drive. Overall, I love my new HHR.

I bought this vehicle used with almost 32K miles on it, but I feel as though I am driving a new one. The gas mileage has been at the top of the range - I am averaging just over 30 mpg with the 4-cylinder engine. Performance is adequate, on par for a crossover with a 4-cylinder. Fit and finish is very good.
I love the information display. It has a lot of information available in real time at my fingertips - total mileage, average mpg, instantaneous mpg, tire pressure x 4 tires, coolant temperature, two trip odometer settings, and outside temperature.
One of my few compaints is with the location of the cup holders in the front. They are a little hard to get to, especially with the driver's and passenger's arm rests in the down position.
This is a minor issue in a vehicle that I am liking very much. I would recommend the HHR.
good car carries plenty of stuff
