I am really enjoying this car. I deducted a point for comfort because the cupholders are in an uncomfortable location. Otherwise, it's great. It handles very well and I feel secure in it. It also has a lot of cargo space. I recommend it.
Very happy with my HHR

I love the space the vehicle has and the fact when needed the back seat lay completely down flat. On other vechicles they didnt and that can be difficult when trying to haul items. I went from a Toyota Yaris to the HHR and was a little concerend about the gas mileage but honestly it hasn't been bad at all and I drive a lot. I do wish it would have key holes on the doors. If Im ever out and about and the key fob stops working, I wish I had the option to use an actual key and unlock my doors. That and the fact the cup holders are located in a very bad location. Theres not enough room with the arm rest downs to use to drink holders and putting more than one drink there can be a tight fit.
But I would reccommend this car to a friend.
Love my new HHR!

What a great surprise!! The HHR was not my first choice when I started looking at buying a car. But, I had a friend that had purchased one and she suggested that I might at least take one for a spin...what did I have to lose? Wow...was she right. The interior is a very pleasant surprise. My husband and I are not small people and we have plenty of room in the HHR. Not only that, but there is actually room in the back seat to sit 2 normal or 3 small people comfortably, quite a change from our last vehicle. For those of us that like to sit a little higher, this car fits the bill. Some of the interior features take a little getting used to: this model has the beverage holders in a kind of akward spot and the controls for the windows are on the center console, not on the door. The handling is a little on the sloppy side but certainly nothing that would be of concern. I took it on road trip recently, set the cruise control and enjoyed a great ride as well as 30 mph! It is a little light in the snow but with the addition of some weight in the back end, it manages just fine.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchse and would recommend the Chevy HHR to anyone looking for a comfortable ride, good fuel economy and some fun in a new car!!
