the doors are too big and the front window too small...i have either come close to hitting hy nose or my leg while shutting the door or drawn blood....you can only see a limited field out the front window and have to bend over and stretch to see the stoplight in front of you or past the roof arm that supports the roof...the window buttons are not on the door so am always looking for them...getting 29 MPG average so like that....it is roomy and carries all my stuff...also watch the rear hatch when open and up as you will hit your head again and again......i do like the engine and the car display info that is provided on the console
I LOVE my HHR Panel. It is a great color, (red metallic), and just enough chrome to make it sparkle. My husband and I just returned from vacation. We drove the HHR over 1,000 miles and really enjoyed it. It got approx. 29 MPG and made for a comfortable ride. If I had any suggestions, it would be to provide just a little more room between the driver and passenger seats. This car is very unique in appearance because it does not have the side windows usually seen at the back seat and cargo area. The doors located behind the driver and passenger are great for getting to cargo near the front of the car. They are also great when packing the car for vacation. The car is my daily driver and my husband likes it so well, he is looking for one for himself.
I have been a Chevy Driver ever since I can remember. I did drivers ed in a 1980's cavalier, my mom had a 1999 cavalier before I recked it one year and then the first car I bought was a 2002 Cavalier. When looking for a car I wanted to step out of Chevy's but the HHR was attractive to me. Number one I like to be unique and yes the HHR looks like a milk truck but it doesn't look like the cube or whatever the other "box" cars are. It drives like my cavalier but with more space in the inside. It doesn't seem to hold gas like the cavalier which is something I think I need to get used to, however all in all it's an awesome car!! Not to mentionn the main reason I chose it over a dodge caliber was the trunk space.
