This is an excellent automobile. Easy to get around town with and easy to handle. Took a road trip to California and back from Maryland and averaged 31 mpg.

Happy with my HHR

I drove a rental HHR fully loaded from LA to Grand Canyons. The ride was comfortable, gas mileage excellent, road handling was good. I was so impressed I purchased a 2009 HHR. I have travelled up the California coast and have travelled to Yosemite, Grand Canyons, next Lassen National park. Purchasing a HHR best decision I have made. Cargo bin is great, it's a stylish and fun to look at. I feel the HHR is underrated and Chevrolet should do more to market. With proper maintenance I will be planning another trip to hike in the Grand Canyons and travel to Yellowstone. Cons: cup holder, arm rest and storage bins needs redesigning.

The Greatest

I have only had my Chevy HHR for a little over a month, but I can say, in my opinion it is a great car. It is very comfotable. The driver seat feels like it is wrapped around you for comfort. It is so easy to get in and out of. It is not to high,so you don't need to climb in or try to pull yourself up to get into it,and getting out is so easy. When you open the door and put your feet on the ground you just stand up---no jumping or sliding down or pushing up to stand up. You are at the perfect level. The front and rear windows are nice and large for easy viewing. There is plenty of leg room in the front as well as the back. Even if you push the front seats back, there is plenty of space. The rear seats fold down providing more room than the trunk space has already given you. The ride is smooth and comfortable. It is a very quiet riding car.Everything is in convient reach. It is larger than a station wagon, but smaller than an SUV. It has a high roof, giving more head room for a taller person.(Thus the name HHR---High Heritage Roof) I love the look of the car. It is not squared off in the back, but is not long and sleek looking. It is made to look like the 1938 Chevy. As you can tell by my review, I AM VERY SATISIFIED WITH MY 2009 CHEVY HHR
