The Greatest

I have only had my Chevy HHR for a little over a month, but I can say, in my opinion it is a great car. It is very comfotable. The driver seat feels like it is wrapped around you for comfort. It is so easy to get in and out of. It is not to high,so you don't need to climb in or try to pull yourself up to get into it,and getting out is so easy. When you open the door and put your feet on the ground you just stand up---no jumping or sliding down or pushing up to stand up. You are at the perfect level. The front and rear windows are nice and large for easy viewing. There is plenty of leg room in the front as well as the back. Even if you push the front seats back, there is plenty of space. The rear seats fold down providing more room than the trunk space has already given you. The ride is smooth and comfortable. It is a very quiet riding car.Everything is in convient reach. It is larger than a station wagon, but smaller than an SUV. It has a high roof, giving more head room for a taller person.(Thus the name HHR---High Heritage Roof) I love the look of the car. It is not squared off in the back, but is not long and sleek looking. It is made to look like the 1938 Chevy. As you can tell by my review, I AM VERY SATISIFIED WITH MY 2009 CHEVY HHR

Good Buy

I bought this vehicle used with almost 32K miles on it, but I feel as though I am driving a new one. The gas mileage has been at the top of the range - I am averaging just over 30 mpg with the 4-cylinder engine. Performance is adequate, on par for a crossover with a 4-cylinder. Fit and finish is very good. I love the information display. It has a lot of information available in real time at my fingertips - total mileage, average mpg, instantaneous mpg, tire pressure x 4 tires, coolant temperature, two trip odometer settings, and outside temperature. One of my few compaints is with the location of the cup holders in the front. They are a little hard to get to, especially with the driver's and passenger's arm rests in the down position. This is a minor issue in a vehicle that I am liking very much. I would recommend the HHR.

I have always had an SUV and other large Ford vehicles in the past. I did not want a car nor did I want another SUV. This HHR1 that I bought this summer gives me more room and mileage per gallon than I could ever imagine. I am 6'4", my wife is 5'9", and my youngest child is 5'11", so we needed room and lots of it. I can honestly say that either one of us can sit in the back with room to spare while the other drives. We have got compliments on the style and color (Deep Red). I would and have recommended this car to my family members and others. Keep up the great work.
