Unexpected value

2006 Chevrolet Impala Nonna - Independence, MO 12/05/2006

I purchased my 2006 Impala several months ago and could not be happier. The instrument panel and layout of the dash is both sporty and accommodating. Everything is accessible and legible. The cruise control and radio controls on the steering wheel are one of my favorite features. Convenience features such as oil life indicator, tire pressure and balance monitoring system, auto door locks and lamps are definitely handy. But I'm most excited about the remote start capability. In climate weather is a little easier to take now that I can simply point my remote at the car (from the second floor of my office building) and start it. By the time I go down the car is warm and the windows frost free. The safety features are incredible. I have never owned a front wheel drive vehicle before and love it. This vehicle really gets around well in the snow. After a horrible accident last December and the fact I now haul my grand daughter all over town, the ability to hold ground in snow and extra safety features for side impact (side curtain air bags and reinforced doors) have never been more important to me. I also appreciate that the passenger airbag is not engaged unless a person of the appropriate size is seated there, the rest of the time it is off. The trunk space and ability to manipulate the folding seats and cargo area is a plus for hauling baby gear, groceries and luggage. The car looks and feels like a more expensive car. The interior is spacious, comfortable, and well thought out. The Impala has the look and feel and features of a more expensive car for a reasonable price.

Loves It!

2006 Chevrolet Impala Library Girl - Salt Lake City, Utah 05/19/2011

I really love my new car! It is very comfortable, drives smooth, and has all the features I could want. I took it on a road trip right after purchasing my Impala and it got great gas milage!!! However, I haven't gotten as good of milage as I was hoping for when it comes to everyday driving around town, I find myself filling up the tank more frequently than I expected to.I'm hoping that this vechilce will serve me wel for years to come.
