2008 Chevrolet ImpalaFordsnomore - Hollywood Florida04/08/2010
Everything on this car is great except the radio. We took the car to Alabama from South Florida and it is very comfortable. The CD player worked well. The car even notified us to check the air in the tires. The gas mileage averaged was excellent even though most of the travel was on the highway. I recommend this car to anyone who wants to feel confident in and about their car.
Great car, average price point
2008 Chevrolet ImpalaJeff B - Austin, TX04/23/2016
Great options, the SS is loaded including a 5.3 LS4 V8 giving the Impala better performace power. With the larger engine city gas mileage is less (15 mpg) than the standard V6 but highway mileage is reasonable at 25 mpg. Comfortable ride, roomy, and fun to drive.
It's suprisingly great!
2008 Chevrolet ImpalaI can't believe I bought an American car - Chicago, IL08/23/2010
I was an ex owner of an 03' nissan maxima and an 06' nissan altima. Nissans are good cars. I thought I never would buy an American car again. I recently had my altima flooded, so the rental place gave me an impala to drive, and I had it for three weeks. I really liked it, so I decided to buy one. It is beautiful and loaded with nice options, and the price was great too. Keep it up GM!
Chevrolet is perhaps best-known for three vehicles: the Chevrolet Suburban, the Chevrolet Corvette, and the Chevrolet Impala. The Impala is the third-oldest active model in Chevy’s portfolio, and after 10 generations the Impala still stands out with a unique combination of size, style, and luxury. Here are our favorite 10 reasons to buy a used Chevrolet Impala.
These days, car buyers who want an affordable luxury family sedan can choose from plenty of options. If you’re looking for a used car that emphasizes traditional luxury offerings in a big package, then you might want to consider a used Chrysler 300. But if you want a full-sized sedan with sportier intentions, then a used Chevrolet Impala could be your go-to choice. These two all-American car manufacturers have battled for market supremacy since the 1950s, and nearly seven decades later, they each still give shoppers options for a distinct taste of affordable mid-grade luxury—especially with the new 2016 Chrysler 300 and 2016 Chevrolet Impala.
Some of the best compact SUVs today are efficient, with good power and handy features like a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and even third-row seats. Check out this top 10 list, based on CarMax sales data from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.
