Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) This is quite simply the best car I have ever owned or driven. It is loaded with great features - leather heated seats, user friendly sound system and controls - just to mention a few - and has lots of power with a 6 cylinder, 305 hp engine. And the mpg is pretty decent. I can routinely get up to 35 mpg on the freeway. I love everything about this car!

My first sedan

I have only ever driven SUVs, from an Explorer to a full-size Bronco, but my commute to work required better fuel economy. It was extremely difficult for me to not continue my trend of driving large vehicles, due to comfort, visiblity, versatility and style. However, once I sat in what is now my new Impala, I knew this would be easier than I thought. During my first test-drive, despite being lower to the ground than I was accustomed, I noticed I had a great view of traffic all around me. Despite my concern, I did not feel "small" on the road, only "small-ER," which is to be expected. Also, I was surprised at how comfortable I was, as I am over six feet tall. Having driven almost 2K miles in a month in my Impala, I can definitely say I am pleased with its performance, not to mention fuel economy! I have a 30-plus mile commute each way to work, mostly highway, and currently my dashboard is telling me I am getting 27.1mpg, which to me is phenomenal for a full-size, V6 sedan. The Impala LT is rated up to 28mpg highway, I believe, so the engine performance is right on. You wont be thrown into your seat when flooring it, but the car will do what you need it to, without even hesitating. For a GOOD car, I feel my Impala LT can't be beat, as I do not need any extra features (except the AUX receiver). I have no doubt that added comforts of the other Chevy packages would make this a GREAT car. In no way can any sedan REPLACE an SUV, but as for driving down the road, going from here to there, I am looking forward to owning my Impala for years to come. God willing!

Chev Impala LE FlexFuel

I have had Chevrolets for a long time, including Impalas, Caprices and for you old timers, Super Deluxe (1940's). I have loved all of them. I will never buy another car without the "On Star" feature again though. I am a stranger in town and it has kept me from becoming lost several times.
