Reviews for 2008 Chevrolet Impala
The Impala is a jack of all trades
I was looking for a Ford replacement at first, but the large sized sedan looked rather pedestrian. That being said GM was the only logical alternative. I was drawn in to the more aggressive styling of the Impala. The interior showed a subtle quality, with the use of leathers and metals. I also appreciated the audio system and that GM cars always feels faster than their Ford counterparts. The steering is responsive and tight, plus the ride is smooth. My hugest complaint is the fact that it needs a little more head and leg room in the car; sometimes it feels like car manufacturers are negligent about catering to the statures of taller/bigger people when engineering automobiles...
My Chevy Impala
I got a 2008 Chevy Impala on Fathers' Day. The Impala caught my eye. The body shape, the inside is comfortable, very roomy and the trunk is a very good size. It is a strong running car and on the freeway it does it's job ! The speed of this car is satifying and I would recommend the Impala to anyone. The only thing I don't have is a sunroof. I am satisfied with this vehicle.
Picked up an 08 with only 16k miles on it. Pretty much a new car still. It has the 3.5 liter and has decent pickup and the gas mileage isn't too bad in the low 20's. Back seat fits my 3 kids, 3 thru 9, 1 in a car seat (middle seat) just fine with lots of room left over. They seem to like it. Trunk is huge too. We rented one of these when our van broke and once earlier when our car broke and decided we liked it better than our van so we picked one up. I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a decent sized real car that still gets ok gas mileage.
