We compared to cars costing much more, Japanese, European, and American. Better interior room than Taurus, a little less expensive and sportier driving than Lacrosse, comparable to Avalon but 5-10k less, couldn't find a better combination of room, quality, driving feel, and value.
Consumer Reports loved this car

I have relied on Consumer Reports for car purchases for 2 decades. They highly recommended the 2012 Chevy Impala. Car purchase at Car Max was easy as pie. Car had to be driven from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando. Bought it without haggling over the price. I had done my homework on line to determine what the average price one should pay for the car and the Car Max price was in that range. Have had the car for almost a half year now and love the automobile.
I made the right choice. GREAT CAR!

I am 6'1" and I am able to get into the car. That is with my neck being fused. Very comfortable. Drivers seat is electric. I am able to adjust the seat up and down. It also has a lumbar support that I can adjust. I have the 3.6 with 300 horse power. No problem with getting onto the tollway. It is a comfortable car.
Chevrolet is perhaps best-known for three vehicles: the Chevrolet Suburban, the Chevrolet Corvette, and the Chevrolet Impala. The Impala is the third-oldest active model in Chevy’s portfolio, and after 10 generations the Impala still stands out with a unique combination of size, style, and luxury. Here are our favorite 10 reasons to buy a used Chevrolet Impala.
These days, car buyers who want an affordable luxury family sedan can choose from plenty of options. If you’re looking for a used car that emphasizes traditional luxury offerings in a big package, then you might want to consider a used Chrysler 300. But if you want a full-sized sedan with sportier intentions, then a used Chevrolet Impala could be your go-to choice. These two all-American car manufacturers have battled for market supremacy since the 1950s, and nearly seven decades later, they each still give shoppers options for a distinct taste of affordable mid-grade luxury—especially with the new 2016 Chrysler 300 and 2016 Chevrolet Impala.
For those in the market for a compact hatchback, the Chevrolet Spark is a top contender. With sleek styling and easy maneuverability, the Chevrolet Spark packs a lot into a small package. Check out our review of the Chevrolet Spark to learn more.
