I bought my Malibu Maxx and I love it, except for the fact that it doesn't get as great of gas mileage as was advertised.
The car runs beautifully, is very comfortable, and has a great space in the hatchback for all the things I have to cart around.
The advertised gas mileage was about 22 in the city...and I am currently getting about 17.5. This was a little disappointing.
However, I highly recommend this car. It's a fantastic vehicle for the price.

Was not thrilled with going back to having car payments but absolutely love my Impala. There is nothing that I can say bad about it.

Overall, the 2007 malibu was a fair deal for the price paid. It was a low mileage vehicle, less than 16,000 original miles. Had some faulty superficial pieces as with most GM vehicles. Had to put a piece of locktite on the winshield wiper cowl to keep it from vibrating as air passed under it into the interior ventilation system of the car. Handles ok, but great gas mileage in the city even. I'm getting between 25 and 27 mpg on the way to work. The windshield washer pump has already broken, but again, no surprise with a GM vehicle. Its a cheap fix, but still annoying. In spite of the small stuff, I felt like I got a good amount of car for the money I spent and it was way cheaper than a Corolla.
