Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.875 reviews) I was looking for a very low mileage 4X4. I found my 2009 Silverado with 6400 miles. I was particularly happy because it was a very clean, basic WT. I waned to be able to build it into the truck I felt I needed for my retirement. The only option it still needs is a good Class IV hitch so I can tow my trailer. It came with lots of up options such as the 4.8 liter V8, power windows and locks, etc. I have added a LineX bed liner, tonneau bed cover, steps and new wheels and tires. The only issue was the OEM tires, Goodyear Wrangler ST's. Those tires were positively dangerous and I believe that D.O.T. should recall them. I hated to have to spend the additional money, but the truck couldn't be safely driven on any but completely dry roads, and definitely not off-road. Why would the manufacturer put basically street tires on a 4X4??? Overall, I love the truck and would recommend a Silverado to anyone.

The extended cab is noisy, it has wind noise as well. Fuel mileage doesn`t live up to the sticker with the 5.3 V-8 engine. 13mpg in town, 16mpg highway is the best I have done. when pulling a small trailer the truck is sluggish and fuel mileage dropped to 9 mpg.
