Reviews for 2008 Chevrolet Suburban 1500
Great vehicle if you need space
This is the second Suburban I have owned. Had a Lincoln Navigator before that. I would rather have the Suburban. Cost initially is less, comfort is same. Driving basically same. Biggest difference is the rear cargo room. Of course you loose some leg room for that-but it's where the kids ride. I haven't had any major problems. Only 1 or 2 minor issues. Same as on other cars I've owned. Gas mileage isn't bad for the size vehicle. Can't beat this one for driving long distances though. I've had gas mileage over 20 MPG when driving highways. Comfort and handling terrific too. Highly recommend this to all families especially if they do any traveling.
This is a great SUV. We were looking for an SUV with 4x4 capability, a third row seat, and cargo room with the 3rd row seat up. The Suburban fits all of these needs. The MPG achieved is reasonable for an SUV of this size. Smooth quiet ride. Overall, we are extremely happy with this purchase.
Good truck, it fits a 4x8 sheets of sheet rock or plywood if you need to haul that sometimes, It drove pretty well in the sand in 4x4 but I did notice it was running a little hot when conditions were tough though. Pretty roomy and rides smooth with some off road tires.
