2007 Chevrolet Tahoeticked off - Saskatchewan, Canada02/10/2009
We loved the vehicle at first until we had to keep taking it in for service. The emmisions control filter is located by the rear tires so when you travel on gravel roads or dusty roads the filter gets plugged and you have to take it in to get replaced. A decent vehicle up to 40,000 kms. Then the trouble starts. the battery buggered up and it was a 1 week wait because there was only one in Canada, a special size they say. Then the torque convertor seals were leaking and it was a day and a half fix. Then the rear u-joint seized up. Now 2 weeks later the check engine light is back on and it is in need of a valve body in the tranny. Another 4-5 hr fix. Also the rear lift gate latch quit working and now I can't access the rear of the vehicle. Another trip in!! When travelling there is not ample space behind the rear seat for luggage. Even groceries get tight back there. The fuel mileage is nowheres where they say it should be and is almost never in V4 mode. Also have to take it in every couple of months for ECM updates. At first we loved the vehicle but now can't wait to get out of the lease. Biggest waste of money I ever had!!!

We have been looking some time to replace our 13 year old Ford Expedition. We looked at many different SUV's, going on many weekends to test drive different makes and models. We test drove Infinity's, brand new Expeditions, Lincoln Navigators, etc. All were nice, but once we test drove the Chevy Tahoe we were hooked!! It does not drive like any other SUV. It has a smooth, quiet ride, almost like a luxury sedan. The steering and brake system are also excellent. The interior is beautiful!! Leather seats, Bose sound system, satellite radio, navigational system, A/C and heated seats, you name it its got it! All the bells and whistles, outstanding ride, for an affordable price. For anyone with a growing family this is a vehicle we HIGHLY recommend!! We would buy this car again in a second!!
We’re taking a closer look at the most searched cars and trucks on carmax.com in 2017. Shoppers across the country are looking for Jeep Wranglers, Ford F-150s, and Honda Accords. They also want lots of vehicle features to enhance their rides. Shoppers in Atlanta want a Chevy Tahoe and third-row seats. People in Washington, DC, like looking for a Jeep Wrangler and Bluetooth®. In Austin, shoppers are hunting for a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and leather seats. And, in Boise, folks can’t get enough of the Ford F-150 with 4X4 power!
We took a look at our most popular vehicles in the fall and where people are tailgating the most, and choose those we think are perfect for tailgating. Whether you’re an armchair quarterback, a high-school football fanatic, or a pro-football devotee, there’s a vehicle for you.
Vehicles with third-row seating have plenty of features for nearly every type of driver. For families that need a great family-friendly vehicle, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans with third-row seats give passengers roomy interiors and still have enough power to haul plenty of vacation equipment or moving supplies.
There’s something about a car that goes vroom that can’t be beat. When you’re sitting behind the wheel of a powerful car, your heart races and your mind wanders to all the places you can go. There are plenty of used cars out there that deliver high horsepower for low prices.
