This is our second Tahoe. Just traded a 2005 with over 100k miles. Our new one is a 2008 LTZ which has just about every option on it incuding the power tailgate and folding second row seats. About the only complaint is the poor design of the center console. Made to look nice and not all that functional. Hard to beat if you need a large SUV and comfort is a must.

I love my Tahoe it has a great ride, and some nice options, and plenty of space for me the dogs and friends. It will go any where, and do anything, I need it to go the first weekend I had it I had to pull two of my buddies trucks out of the mud, they were down to their axles(33"and 36"tires). She had no problem retrieving them. then we all came back to my place cleaned up, hooked up the 27' cabin cruiser, loaded coolers and fishing gear and 6 full grown men - And went fishing!
2006 Chevrolet TahoeBob - Gastonia, NC06/25/2012
The 2006 Chevrolet Z71 Tahoe we purchased has been an excellant investment for our family. We had specific requirements such as two wheel drive and a 3.23 gear ratio rear end which mated with the 5.3L standard engine gives us approximately 26 miles per highway gallon . CarMax found several Tahoe's that matched our requirements which lead to our purchasing the above mentiond SUV. We are extremely pleased with the truck and would recommend CarMax to anyone. One of the reasons we came back to CarMax is our previous purchase of a 2009 Mercedes Benz ML 350 which has been an excellant SUV for my wife. So, we are pleased buyers from start to finish of our transactions.
