This is a great vehicle for an active family with multiple needs - ie kids; sports; traveling; camping etc....I've driven cars and cross-over vehicles in the past - and knew that I couldn't go any smaller than the cross-over that I recently had. It's got a lot of space, has practical and luxury options and is dependable. From hauling lots of sports and camping equipment to taking road trips - we haven't found one thing that we don't like about it - other than the gas mileage. For being an SUV - it has a very comfortable ride, handles very well and isn't sluggish. My family have been Chevy fans for years - and I am now a "convert"!
Excellent, the car was everything we hoped for, excellent condition, extremely smooth ride, excellent value for the money.
This vehicle replace a 2001 Blazer that went to that great car wrecking yard in the sky. Great value for the money. If you watch your acceleration and deceleration you can get an extra mile or two per gallon like any car. The car sits higher than the older version I had which means more clearance if you go off roading. Took it off roading last weekend and handled itself well even in low gears on down hills. Only wish the interior was a bit darker grey to hide any smudges. Like the locking glove compartment perfect if you upgrade your radio to take an MP3 player. Rear seats are easy to fold down and great access for the spare tire equipment. If you read other reviews it talks about the soft breaks. They were correct...take a little bit extra pressure to break but you have to remember you are driving a larger vehicle. Not sure how this would impact if you were towing something. Sunroof is great, one touch opening is fantastic. Wish it had the same for closing it as well. Rear windows go all the way down. Drink holders hold largest size beverages from fast food restaurants. Only drawback is if you have them in the upper holders and transition to park you can't get your cup out. Seat pockets are not as big as previous Blazers and lack of door pockets in the rear means you loose storage places for those small items. Turning radius is great if you need to make a U-turn on a residential street. It did a great 3-point turn on a small off road as well. My friends commented for as big a car that their small passenger cars couldn't have done it. Overall, I love my new Trailblazer and glad I got a newer version!
