Drives great

2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Sue - Texas 12/14/2007

We traded two vehicles in decided one car is all we would reguire. My husband dosent drive and I do. I love the trailblazer. Its like a truck and luxury car all rolled into one.And surprizeingly its easy to handle and easy to park.It is also easy to get out of the parking space. It has a sun roof I just love it.The car is worth the money and I am happy with it.

44K Miles and spent 1200 in repairs

2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SSTWebmaster - Raleigh, NC 09/30/2010

Our 04 TrailBlazer has 44k miles and we've already spent over $1200 in repairs. It developed a mysterious grind/squeak in the front end that turned out to be both front hubs needing replacement, the wheel bearings are integrated into the hubs and cannot be removed to be repacked or replaced on their own, on an older car this would've been a $90 fix for wheel bearings. There's another mystery noise that I'm afraid to look at because we can't afford another $1000 plus repair. Secondly the instrument cluster doesn't work, this is a known issue with the base Silverado and Chevy issued a recall, they refuse to do the same (for the same issue with the same cluster) for the 04 TrailBlazer, the instrument cluster runs about $550 to replace. I don't know if things improved with later models, because frankly I won't invest the money in another one. This vehicle handles like a barge and is dangerously underpowered, the only way to pass another vehicle is to stand on the gas, there's no smooth acceleration... Spend your money on another vehicle, the 04 TrailBlazer isn't worth the scrap value

Solid TrailBlazer

2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer A Driver - Madison, Alabama 01/07/2008

Love my TrailBlazer. It is fun to drive and it looks good. It is very roomy overall, with plenty of leg room in the front and in the back. Head room is also spacious. The only room for improvement as I see it is better fuel economy - it's not horrible, but could be better. Will probably buy another TrailBlazer in the future.
