Customer Review Summary for 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

This vehicle has been great, even now at 65K. Over 20 MPG on a regular basis. A few design flaws irritate me. The outside panels on the front seats have both broken lose. While it is no big deal, as the stay securely in place, it is annoying. Problem is that the clips which hold them in place often break, and since they are molded to the sides, replacing the clips alone is not possible. Only other concern is with the standard radio/cd. It's ok, but I like my music and I like to hear all the instruments in a tune, not so with the standard audio. I would have upgraded if I knew.
All in all, i would not hesitate to buy again, and unfortunately I can't, as it is not manufactured anymore. This is the best tow vehicle for my boat that I have ever owned. 6000+ is a huge capacity for tow, and she is so stable in the highway, even with heavy wind and the boat attached.

We are very happy with our new Trailblazer. The only complaint is that the suspension is extremely loose in these models. It is loose to the point of being scary sometimes if there are any ruts, uneven spots in the road, etc. We love everything about this vehicle except this. If they would stiffen/tighten this up a little the vehicle would be fantastic. It is something we want to keep for a very long time. However, if the suspension is this loose already with only 22,000 miles on it - I am worried what it will be like when we get above 50,000 miles. I would reccomend this vehicle be just make sure you are ok with a loose suspension before buying. You definitely have to be very and can't make big, quick, jerky movements while driving.

The trailblazer has a very loud & rough shifting transmission and I am told they are all like this.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
