Customer Review Summary for 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazerJust John - Austin, TX08/18/2011
The vehicle was purchased for my wife. Although we never planned on an SUV, we found that at our age, it was easier to enter and leave the SUV than it was a regular sedan (no bending). The Trailblazer has a nicely appointed cabin and the seats are very comfortable with very easy adjustments controls. Myself, at 6'4" tall, find the vehicle a little cramped but my wife, 5'2", loves it. It gives her better viability and from a higher perspective than her 1007 T-Bird. Finally, it is a GM product so that says it all for me.
I would recommend this vehicle to anyone under 6' tall.
2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazerSTRAK85 - West Jordan, UT10/20/2011
The Trailblazer has sufficient room for passengers for my family (of 4) but lacks the space for carpooling (seats only 5 people). There is lots of space in the back for camping gear and/or luggage and there is a roof rack for more. The overall quality is very good, but I am unimpressed by the upholstery (leather would have been great, but has "cargo truck" cloth like a work truck). Power and performance is very good and shifting for both the transmission and the transfer case is smooth and precise. My mileage is well below the EPA estimates (as has been my experience with most vehicles) but the Trailblazer has a big fuel tank. Overall rating is a 4 and I would recommend it to a friend with the above caveats.
Exactly what I wanted

This vehicles has a smooth, quiet ride. It has 4 wheel drive so I can go into the rockier part of the mountains. It gets excellent gas mileage...drove 272 miles and still had a 1/4 tank of gas going uphill. Drove back 272 miles going mostly downhill and still had a 1/2 tank of gas. The only complaint I have is there is no room to put my purse on the console while driving (very minor complaint!)

Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
