Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.528 reviews) My wife and I usually get highway mileage that is better than advertised. We got 20 mpg with our 2006 Avalanche. We get 42 on the highway in our 2012 Prius V. We took our Traverse LTZ on a 7000 mile trip a few days after buying it. Two complaints. We were frequently driving where no road was shown on the Nav system and the mileage was terrible. Advertised at 23 mpg it was a major reason for selecting this car but we only got 18-20. Very disappointing and expensive. I believe that my Avalanche would have done much better.

2011 Chevy Traverse

Pros: Space Stylish All Wheel Drive Cons: Uncomfortable Driver's Seat Gas Mileage I am a weekend DJ. Because of that, I needed a large vehicle to haul my gear. My previous vehicle was a mini van, so I needed a vehicle with about the same amount of space. The Traverse is the largest SUV in it's class and holds all of my gear perfectly. My only complaint about this vehicle is the driver's seat. The lumbar support seems touch the wrong section of my back (even with the lumbar support disabled). I've played with the lumbar support lever, as well as the other seat adjustments without any success. In the end, I love this vehicle and would recommend it to a friend.

Good decision

I traded in my town & country for the traverse and I couldn't be happier. I loved the t&c w the dual DVD players, hdd drive, and storage however I had a consistent problem w the gears grinding. I was nervous getting the traverse although it seats seven the trunk space is a fraction of the size and no DVD for my kids. All my worries have been unfounded. The whole family loves the traverse. The ride is smooth and comfortable and it looks great. I wish this crossover had better gas mileage but I spend about the same as w my minivan. I'm extremely happy I made the switch and so glad I went to Car Max. Art was fantastic!
