2011 Chevy Traverse
Pros: Space Stylish All Wheel Drive Cons: Uncomfortable Driver's Seat Gas Mileage I am a weekend DJ. Because of that, I needed a large vehicle to haul my gear. My previous vehicle was a mini van, so I needed a vehicle with about the same amount of space. The Traverse is the largest SUV in it's class and holds all of my gear perfectly. My only complaint about this vehicle is the driver's seat. The lumbar support seems touch the wrong section of my back (even with the lumbar support disabled). I've played with the lumbar support lever, as well as the other seat adjustments without any success. In the end, I love this vehicle and would recommend it to a friend.
My favorite car ever!
I love everything about it. I have captain chairs in the middle which I love to separate fighting kids, I love that that my space behind the third row is larger then an Explorer's or Highlander's, and I love my additional sun roof and radio controls on the steering wheel and additional storage in the councel.
Traveling in a Traverse
I have had the vehicle for about a month now and I am impressed with the drive and comfort of the car. Have not had any passengers for long periods of time in the very back seats so I can't say anything about them just yet. The only disappointment so far has been the gas mileage. I am getting nowhere near 23 miles per gallon on the highway. In town it is more like 14-15 mpg. I got the AWD version for possibe trips to snow country, but haven't used yet. The ride is comfortable and quiet. I didn't think it would be a big attraction, but the satellite radio is great. No more fade outs in some areas, except when going under a bridge. Would definitely recommend the vehicle, but wish something could be done about the gas mileage.
