I have owned my Volt sense may of 2011 and have over 10,000 miles on it. My daily drives can be done with out using any gas, went one strech of over 1500 miles with out using any gas. We also took a long trip, over 1500 miles using gas with out charging, with four full size adults, lugage and even my wife who hates long car trips was comfortable.
Most people have major concers about the battery, while other EVs expect you to take care of the battery, the Volt dose this for you, with no real concerns about how much charge is left.
The Volt is not a cheep car, it is worth more than you will pay for it.

Excellent car for the money with a lot of desirable features. Only wish they has packed a bigger battery into this generation. Driving electric beats gas hands down.
