Actually when we took long road trips, it would get 30 MPG. I originally bought it, because it has the largest back seat of any car, being a realtor, I wanted my clients to be comfortable. Lot's of room , great to drive and just an all around great car. Only reason I sold it was to get a mini van for my 3 grandchildren's car seats. Highly recommend the 300.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.468 reviews) Took a trip in this lil' crate, from Florida to West Virginia. It averaged over 30 miles per gallon, hit highway speed quick, so merging into 60mph traffic was a snap. Mountains, you say?.. the lil' 4 banger in this sweetheart didn't buck, bog, nor sputter--it zipped right up them. It's a great little car: maneuvers easily, has zip to the acceleration, and gets very good gas mileage.

I have previously owned 2 Dodge Grand Caravans and this one is so different. The Dodge's were just a van. The Town & Country actually feels like I am driving a luxury car. BUT!!!!! The Navigation system STINKS. Totally not worth it. I keep my Garmin in the van at all times.

Great Car at OK Price

Chrysler hit a home run with this version. Loads more cargo space than any SUV with the Stow 'n' Go seats in the floor. Ride and handling are terrific. Very, very quiet on the highway. 28GB hard drive far superior to playing music from iPod or USB drive. Fuel economy exceeds EPA numbers and better than any mid-size or larger SUV. Infotainment system is flawless!! (Hear that, Ford?!!)

Mistake

Please read up about this car if you are considering buying. They are well known for electrical issues and transmission failures after 10-20 thousand miles. After purchasing I leave it parked in the garage while making payments until I trade it in and get rid of it. Sales people are great but don't just buy it because it looks fancy. Do you're own research.
