This bad boy has space in droves! The Stow-N-Go feature is a complete game changer. I get to keep the seats in the car and not have to look for a space to keep them in the garage. All the other "goodies" Chrysler provides over Dodge are also welcomed. Power door control on the remote comes in very handy. But the best surprise about this van is the gas milage. With the new high-power Chrysler V6 cranking our 282 HP, we anticipated average MPG in the mi to high teens. We do primarily city driving, with an occasional stint on the highway. Our first tank we got 24.5 MPG and our second tank got us 20.5 MPG. This is actually better than our old van, which was lucky to get 20 MPG with an engine that produced 100 HP less. The trip computer on the T&C is a bit optimistic, as my figures are based on full-tank fill-ups and miles driven vs. the computer's average MPG estimates. Mine were about 1.5 MPG lower, so plan on filling the tank after about 380-390 miles driven, just to be safe. The gas mileage can be much lower as when you put your foot down on the gas, it will take off and the usage goes way up, but the van will merge to highway speeds with no problem and will pass anything it needs to if you so desire.
The one little peeve, is the center dash computer display. It cycles through a bunch of screens, but cannot display a trip computer at the same time it displays any other screen. There is plenty of display space on the screen to accommodate this, but one has to his 3 buttons to get from a different screen to another screen. Not the best system.
In summary, this minivan has been a pleasant surprise and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for one. A used one that is 2011 or newer will feet you the Pentastar V6 and will cost significantly less that a new one. With so many of these put into used car fleets, replacement parts will be plentiful and and reasonably priced for future maintenance.
