Customer Review Summary for 2006 Chrysler Crossfire

I've owned it about 8mos and really enjoy driving this car! It is a typical sports car: fast, hard to get in and out (incentive to lose wt and work out!), looks great. With only 14K mi, have not had to deal with repair costs.
Yeah, dudes have to own something like this sometime in our lives!
Let him buy it wives, at least for a year or two!

I bought my '06 limited coupe in '08 with 10K on the clock for 14,000. It now has 40K on it. I have not had one single problem with this car. Not one. Best car I have EVER owned. Yes it has it's limitations. It is a two seater sports car. that's why I bought it. It handles ok in the winter snow, drove it through 8" of heavy snows on ice packed pavement and it got me home in one piece.
People talk about the high maintenance costs. Nonsense. I buy my own oil, and use a standard filter so that comes to about $60, and then I have my dealer just charge me the labor, about $10 to change it, and we're good for another 7,000 miles.
I replaced the original Continentals at 30K, and got the new Conti DWS's for 150 a tire, so that was 600.00 I've replaced the throttle body with a 74MM, added a dual cold air intake and that's where my performance mods end.
The engine is strong, easy to work on, parts are plentiful at reasonable prices. You simply cannot get get better performance and looks at twice the cost-even used. This car is the best kept secret on the planet. only 76K were built, probably about 50K left on the roads due to attrition and accidents, and one last thing. if you do get into an accident, this car was built so well that most I've known that have had serious accidents walked away from them. That's how good this car really is.
