I LOVE THE CLASSIC AGELESS PT CRUISER MODEL! I love the moonroof and the SMALL SUV feeling...The MILEAGE NEEDS TO IMPROVE TO AT LEAST 36M/H in the today economy. Not very economic! Only 20 to 26miles/gallon. If you maintain it properly, it will last you at least to 150,000!
(Ive had one before that collapsed at 150,000!).Not worth changing all parts!

I love my P.T. Cruiser! It was the best decision I made! I traded my chevy Aveo for the Pt because I wanted a sturdier car that was still small, good on gas but safer over all! I feel love the way the Py Cruiser handles and sits on the ground. It's heavier then the aveo of course so I don't feel like it will blow over in the wind. The PT drives like a truck so I had to get use to that as well!
I like the way the dashboard is situated i don't feel as if I have to reach to far to turn the radio on!
My Boyfriend is a bass player. So we were able to fold both the seat in the back and load his bass in the back with no prolem! Most importantly, the bass fit in the car!
The one thing i would complain about is the wide turn ratio! backing in and out of parking spaces has been something to get used to. You have to put extra effort in turning the front wheels. I guess that is where I feel like it drives like a truck.
Other than that i really really Enjoy driving my PT Cruiser! I have named her Bess!
Hope this Helps!
