Customer Review Summary for Chrysler PT Cruiser
Love it, love it, love it
2007 Chrysler PT CruiserCar Hater - Chicago, IL10/27/2009
My first new car was a 78 Honda Civic that I drove for 12 years and 130,000 miles. I'm having flashbacks with my new (used) PT Cruiser. The hatchback is a junk-and-dog-hauler's dream. The mini profile means I can park it anywhere there's a breath of space. The silver color means I never have to wash it. I've loved the retro style since they were first introduced--and Chrysler had the good sense to maintain the winning design virtually unchanged from that date forward. Surprising pick up for a little toy car too. I've lived for the last 20 years using only public transportation and rental cars. Succumbed to purchasing a car because I couldn't manage my volunteer activities without one anymore. Dreaded spending money on a stupid car. But this puppy fits me like a glove. It does everything I want it to with a little bit of "cute" thrown in. Love it.
Great Lil' Chugger
2008 Chrysler PT Cruiserwalter staggs - saint petersburg, FL10/18/2015
Took a trip in this lil' crate, from Florida to West Virginia. It averaged over 30 miles per gallon, hit highway speed quick, so merging into 60mph traffic was a snap. Mountains, you say?.. the lil' 4 banger in this sweetheart didn't buck, bog, nor sputter--it zipped right up them.
It's a great little car: maneuvers easily, has zip to the acceleration, and gets very good gas mileage.
DO NOT BUY CHRYSLER, ESPECIALLY PT CRUISER
2008 Chrysler PT CruiserP C - Houston, TX04/05/2016
I bought this car for my son and everything went wrong with this car. Here is the list all within 2 years.
1. The rear tail light
2. AC went out
3. Engine stop working had to replace.
4. Transmission stop working (told them to come get it).
I refused to pay a car not and work on this car. I could have bought a fixer upper ride. If I really wanted to work on a car.
