You get the best of both worlds with this car. It is a Hardtop/Convertible. While you can enjoy open air driving on the nice days, you can put the Hardtop up and enjoy the quiet and convenience of a hardtop as well. It also has the larger V6 which gives it much more power when you need it as well as the Boston Acoustics Sound System and all the other features of a Luxury Car.
2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi
2001 Chrysler SebringPete - Roanoke, Virginia05/07/2007
The redesigned Sebring was was well received by automobile magazines when first introduced for the 2001 model year. That's one of the reasons I chose to buy one in November 2000. Now, seven years later and with103,000 miles on the odometer, I have not been disappointed. The LXi model with leather seating has always been very comfortable and easy to keep clean inside. The power moonroof has always been a delight but it can reduce headroom in this model. I've also been very pleased with the AM/FM/4-CD changer -- plenty of great sound for my tastes. Performance has been above standards -- the engine gets up and goes when I need it to and it's still quiet. Even better, I get 35mpg on the highway -- amazing, and necessary with today's gas prices. And I've never had a single problem with the transmission or engine components. Brakes seemed to wear more quickly than in my previous cars, however. The car has always reminded me of a smaller version of the old Dodge Intrepid, which always cut a nice shape in my opinon. It may not be the most modern design by 2007 standards but it still looks good (better than the present Sebring design) and drives wonderfully.
Never Ever Buy A Chysler
2004 Chrysler Sebringsas - san antonio, tx12/01/2011
With in the first 2 months of owning this vehicle i had to bring it in to be worked on 4 times. the third time they kept my car for 8 days! and the last time they kept it for 5. I have had nothing but problems with this car. I bought it with 68 thousand miles on it and so far i've had the water pump, thermostat, timing chain, radiator cap, filter in the air conditioner and something else replaced. I've also had to have the breaks worked on 3 times. I will never buy a chrysler product again in my life.
