Great Less Expensive Alternative to Tahoe

Comparing it to the Tahoe. Purchased used and was approximately $7000 less in price with 10000 less miles at time of purchase. Feels and is a bit smaller than the Tahoe and with the R/T package (Hemi) with AWD can tow up to 7200#. Fit and finish is comparable to Tahoe. Intermittent AWD is the biggest disappointment in the snows of the Pacific NW. Not a city driver with poor gas mileage. On the interstate getting between 21-23 MPG varies with wind direction and which set of tires I have on the car. These MPG numbers are when going approximately 0-5 MPG over the posted speed limit. The 8 speed transmission shifts like a dream but not a fan of the paddle shifters (May still not know how to keep them disengaged all the time.)

Best car I have ever owned. Not kidding!!

This 2014 Dodge Durango Citadel is awesome. I am a 41 year old guy who has owned around 10 cars since I was 16. I like this vehicle more than any other. I got it with the 5.7 liter Hemi. The acceleration is amazing for a large vehicle. The handling is very very good. Its almost like a sports car. I have driven it on snowy roads and it handles perfectly. The interior is well designed and feels top notch. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone. Absolutely amazing.

Awesome car

I bought the car new in 2009 when I was mid 40's. I have never actually "Loved " to drive a vehicle prior to owning an SRT8 Challenger. After years of full sized SUV's and Pickups it was a huge difference. The car is incredibly comfortable to sit in, drive, crank music and of course - drive fast. It's really exhilarating from 20-70mph. Total rocket sled. Also very fun from a stop in 1st gear with auto stick launch. The computer shifts at every red-line and barks the tires in 2nd gear even with traction control on. Complete disengagement of traction control is achieved by holding button down a 2nd time for >10 seconds for a second set of tones. Must be stopped or idling <5mph. Super fun ride.
