Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.786 reviews) I've owned my Nitro RT, from new. I bought it on Oct. 31, 2007. It had a couple hickups with the HVAC system. Okay. virtually every part of it was replaced under warranty. Aside from that, I've put 112,000 miles on it and had only a few small things break. Window regulator. Window button. Key FOB. I was looking at other new SUV's like the Highlander and Murano, and have decided to keep my Nitro. It's worth putting in the $3,000 of 100,000 mile maintenance on. The biggest down side to the Nitro? Suuuuuuper chinsey interior. But I guess that developement money was spent on better mechanics. I'm super happy with my RT!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.786 reviews) Had Check Engine Light come on, turned out cylinder 6 was defective and had to be replaced. Luckily, Fiat-Chrysler put an extended warranty on it 10yr/150k and got replaced for free. But what about the other 5 cylinders? Google this phrase "Chrysler replacing cylinder heads on select Pentastar V6 powered models" Water goes into the trunk lid, then into trunk via spoiler. Heater core got clogged, so, very poor heat in the cabin during winter times. This is not under any warranty, up to $1200 to fix. Had to have Heater Actuator replaced multiple times.

Not too shabby impulse purchase

I am used to driving a VW Beetle for the past 13 years and had to buy something in a hurry when it suddenly died on me on the highway, so I thought this car would take a lot of getting used to, but it rides so smooth and isn't really as large as I first thought it would feel...I tend to pull too close to curbs, so I love how the front end sits JUST high enough to miss them and not scrape...AC/Heat work great and the defogger is amazing...drives well on ice and snow, too...highway gas mileage has been amazing, I can go 400 miles on 1 tank of gas, which is nice...lots of trunk storage, however if it is raining or has been raining, water runs into the trunk upon opening it...not sure if mine is defective or this is standard

Terrible! Horrible! Problematic!
