Only had the car a few months and had a bunch of problems with it, not to mention the problems it had when I bought it
2008 Dodge AvengerWalsh - Houston03/12/2011
The car itself is okay. The inside is cheap plastic the top to the middle arm rest and storage department snapped off so quickly and everything just feels cheap. The car looks nice the design feels like a baby chargeralthough the look of the r/t version is much better. Performance wise its pretty decent I have a 2.4L 4cyl and when you punch the gas you can feel it pretty recently although it seems that at random times the car will not accelerate as well as others but it could be my imagination im not sure. Overall its a decent car although I would suggest looking at other cars first before you decide on this one.
The Dodge Avenger made a big splash when it jumped into the large pool of mid-sized American sedans more than 20 years ago. Its classic styling, high-tech features, and affordable price made the Avenger an outstanding contender in the front-wheel-drive market. Right until its last model year (2014), sophisticated facelifts and revisions made sure the Avenger has held onto its position as a popular choice from Dodge for daily drivers and performance enthusiasts alike.
