About the Dodge Caliber

Vehicle Summary

A compact hatchback like the Dodge Caliber can be a great choice if you're looking for a practical and versatile car with lots of personality. Specifically, the five-door Dodge Caliber hatchback offers seating for five passengers and was produced from 2007 through 2012 as a replacement for the Dodge Neon and Chrysler PT Cruiser models.

Inside its cabin, the Caliber offers a spacious 18.4 cubic feet of storage space behind its rear row on the 2012 model—and that can be extended to a full 47.4 feet by simply folding down the rear seats. Meanwhile, its compact size makes it fun to drive and easy to maneuver into tight parking spots and around crowded city streets. If you're shopping for a compact hatchback, be sure to check out a used Dodge Caliber for yourself.

2008 Dodge Caliber SXT - Great Car

I was needing a bigger vehicle than I had. I have 2 youngs boys and they are getting bigger everyday it seems. When I started looking for a new car, I really didn't have any specific type in mind, but I was certain that I wanted an SUV. I don't like vans and cars just weren't big enough unless they were bad on gas. I had the choice between a Chevy HHR and a Dodge Caliber. Both cars had plenty of room but what sold me on the Caliber was that it looked more modern, had a few more safety features, and it was a mix between a small SUV and a family size car. Just what I wanted. After I drove the Caliber for a few days, I realized that it was just as good on gas as my little car was but now I even had room to put my dog (who isn't exactly small). My son thought it was a race car and that just made him even more excited. To make a long story short - The Dodge Caliber is an excellent buy for someone who is looking for space, comfortability (my kids fall asleep everytime), reliability, a modern vehicle, and it gets great gas mileage. Also, it is not so big that you can't find a parking space, it's just the right size for a small family.
