I bought my Caliber in June 2012. First off I would like to say the treatment I got from my salesman Richard was so good I came back andhad my sister buy a 2007 Honda Civic from him and another great car. But my Caliber is such a great car the gas milage was an unexpected bonus. I went to Fort Lauderdale from charleston SC and stopped for gas twice. I later went to ohio and again only stopped twice there and back. Cons are, it didn't do to well in the mountains I'm not sure if it was a persure thing but it had issue speeding up at times but it was only while in the mountains once we got there it was fine and at home it was fine. there is a slight noise coming from under the car I have had it looked at 3 times no one can find it. While it is anoying it doesn't make me love this car anyless. If anyone in Charleston SC is reading this and your thinking about a caliber or any other car go see Richard at carmax he is the best. I'll be coming back in Feb 2013 for another car a Mercades C230 and I will be going right back to him a 3rd time. I am a carmax shopper for life. love you guys.
Love my caliber
2007 Dodge Caliberjmax - Austin, TX05/16/2011
I fell in love with this car on site. They are so sleek and really cool looking. After purchase I stupidly looked up the online ratings of my vehicle and instantly started noticing all these little things and I totally thought "thought" myself into thinking I bought a lemon. After the craziness wore off, the only actual things that could have been designed better the windows give a blind spot easily fixed with a.99 stick on mirror. And my husband swears after reading the article the vehicle all of a sudden lost pick up, well I drive it everywhere and have know problem. Honestly I notice he just pushes the heck out of the gas & I only notice it more in the Dodge. Bottom line I LOVE MY DODGE!
The car is decent sized if you are single and have no kids. However, it is not a grocery-getter, as it has very little room in the hatchback. It is a very noisy car, like they forgot to insulate it from road noise. The tires are cheap. It didn't come with daytime running lights or an alarm. The fuel tank is very small, and while It gets decent gas mileage, you have to refill the tank more often than I would like. It is simply functional to get you from point A to point N. Beyond daily driving, I don't recommend this car. I'm just disappointed. I won't buy another one.
