The car is decent sized if you are single and have no kids. However, it is not a grocery-getter, as it has very little room in the hatchback. It is a very noisy car, like they forgot to insulate it from road noise. The tires are cheap. It didn't come with daytime running lights or an alarm. The fuel tank is very small, and while It gets decent gas mileage, you have to refill the tank more often than I would like. It is simply functional to get you from point A to point N. Beyond daily driving, I don't recommend this car. I'm just disappointed. I won't buy another one.
2007 Dodge CaliberMe - California03/31/2011
The car is a good family car, feels very sturdy and safe. It does have trouble getting up hills without downshifting to 3rd gear sometimes. Also the engine runs a little rough at times. The doors are really heavy and I think it has caused the power windows to go out once or twice. Its very roomy and comfortable, I do like the built in cooler in the glove compartment and the extra storage areas in the doors, center console and above the glove compartment. My car is a stick shift and I only wish the instrument panel displayed the RPM's. Radio sounds great and I like that it has towing capacity. Overall happy with the car, I always liked the look and driving one isnt bad either. I just wish it had a bit more power but if I bought it new perhaps I would see a difference in performance.
2007 Dodge CaliberMoni - North Carolina10/04/2010
I purchased my 2007 Dodge Caliber this year in July. After two months my car is in the shop with engine problems! The motor is shaking and it sounds like diesel truck. So as for me I got sold a bad model.
On the flip side, I absolutley love my car, it is spacious, great on gas mileage, and stylish, but it is truly a disappointment.
