Has the 3rd row of seating we were looking for and more than enough power. My wife and I both enjoy driving.
The Durango, particularly used, it's an extreme value. We got ours fully loaded with the hemi at a great price. It drives and handles like a sports car. In short the Durango is a great family car that is still a blast to drive. My only gripes are the city gas mileage sucks (approx 13-14) but that's to be expected. The six speed transmission can be a bit finnicky. Dodge upgraded it to a smoother 8 speed for 2014. It's a better trans but dodge changed the trim levels so getting a hemi requires dropping some serious dough on a Citadel or RT.
Great turning radius (yes that is important), good ride, very comfortable, and looks so good! I also am getting great gas mileage (I have the 6 cylinder) @ 21-22 in the city and 27-29 on the hwy. It is also quiet inside.....much quieter than my wife's GMC Acadia.
