This vehicle is fantastic. Extremely roomy in the inside, and tough on the outside. The fact that you have an extra seat in the front is a plus! Up to 8 passengers can be transported in this car (though a couple of them need to be a tidbit skinny).
Laying down the back seats provide a lot of space for cargo, and you can easily put a quick mattress to sleep in there during a long trip.
In the down side, the height of the car makes a bit complicated for the kids to jump in and out (but I knew it upfront, a SUV is not as friendly for kids as a minivan), and my favorite pet peeve is the gas mileage: at 14 mpg it is a gas guzzler (with the 4.7 engine).
I have had my car for 3yrs and I love it, the space is awesome, i have 4 kids and the room is out of sight, i thought about buying a van before i purchased the Durango thinking i wouldn't have enough space, but that wasn't true, the only thing I don't like, it's a gas guzzler. Otherwise I would recommend it to anyone.

For families that need a great family-friendly vehicle, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans with third-row seats give passengers roomy interiors and still have enough power to haul plenty of vacation equipment or moving supplies.
