I bought the Durango in November on 2006 and even though the payments are a little steep and it loves gasoline, everytime i get into the Durango i still love it as much as the day i bought it, i always feel comfortable and safe while driving it, it is a great family vehicle and i have taken it on trips and had tons of room for luggage it all around is the best vehicle i have ever owned!
I have the 2013 Durango R/T trim, and love it. I have owned it less than a month, so can't speak on the durability. It is a big vehicle, but it really doesn't feel that you are driving a large SUV, drives like a car. The V8 has plenty of power, and has great acceleration. Dodge did a great job with the interior, feels and looks like your driving a luxury vehicle from Germany, they didn't cheap out on anything.
Great turning radius (yes that is important), good ride, very comfortable, and looks so good! I also am getting great gas mileage (I have the 6 cylinder) @ 21-22 in the city and 27-29 on the hwy. It is also quiet inside.....much quieter than my wife's GMC Acadia.
