Great Car

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Jennifer - Midlothian, VA 12/23/2010

I love the Grand Caravan, the only things I would have to say to double check are: Make sure the two side windows in the 2nd row go down.... I thought it would common knowledge that they did, but news flash they don't unless you have that added feature. I love how it drives and everything about it. But like I said that only downside to it and I will always ask from now on is the windows. I like to have the windows down when there's no kids in the car or on a nice day and this way you can only have the front down. Oh well. Great car!

Love it!

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Happy Mom - Texas 05/09/2010

With 3 growing kids, we needed a vehichle that would provide enough space as they got bigger. We wanted 3rd row seating and cargo space for traveling. My husband and I are very tall and so are our kids, so leg room was very important in all 3 rows. We "tried out" every SUV and van on the lot, which covered most makes and models. The only two vehicles that we tried that had enough leg room and comfort in the 3rd row seat was the Suburban and this van, both with 2nd row quad seats. The van came with more options, better gas mileage and much lower price. The problem with most other vehicles is that the 3rd row seat was hard to get to, having to fold and flip the 2nd row seats would of meant that one of us adults would of had to assist the kids getting in and out each time. The other problem was that many of the 3rd row seats were low to the floor, so your knees were up to your chest. The cargo space is great behind the 3rd row seat, which is not the case in smaller vans and mid size SUV's. We have a split 3rd row seat, so we can fold down 1/2 if we need additional cargo space. We got swivel seats for our second row, which means we can't stow them, but they are very comfortable. I heard they are more comfortable than the stow seating. In the city we are getting about 16 mpg, but most drives are under a mile each way. Took a 4 hour hwy trip yesterday and averaged 25 mpg, which I thought was great. Would purchase again if I had the chance, very happy so far.
