Love it!

With 3 growing kids, we needed a vehichle that would provide enough space as they got bigger. We wanted 3rd row seating and cargo space for traveling. My husband and I are very tall and so are our kids, so leg room was very important in all 3 rows. We "tried out" every SUV and van on the lot, which covered most makes and models. The only two vehicles that we tried that had enough leg room and comfort in the 3rd row seat was the Suburban and this van, both with 2nd row quad seats. The van came with more options, better gas mileage and much lower price. The problem with most other vehicles is that the 3rd row seat was hard to get to, having to fold and flip the 2nd row seats would of meant that one of us adults would of had to assist the kids getting in and out each time. The other problem was that many of the 3rd row seats were low to the floor, so your knees were up to your chest. The cargo space is great behind the 3rd row seat, which is not the case in smaller vans and mid size SUV's. We have a split 3rd row seat, so we can fold down 1/2 if we need additional cargo space. We got swivel seats for our second row, which means we can't stow them, but they are very comfortable. I heard they are more comfortable than the stow seating. In the city we are getting about 16 mpg, but most drives are under a mile each way. Took a 4 hour hwy trip yesterday and averaged 25 mpg, which I thought was great. Would purchase again if I had the chance, very happy so far.

Great Buy!

I traded a 2008 Honda Civic to purchase my 2008 Grand Caravan. The vehicle is clearly heavier, but it performs excellent It handles fine for my liking. I find the seats to be comfortable and the van to be very roomy. The versatility is hard to beat because of the Stow-N-Go seating. The entire rear of the van folds flat INTO the floor, making it excellent for transporting any cargo needed. No need to remove the seating... just fold into the floor. The only things I wish my van would have come with is adjustable pedals, rear A/C, tinted windows, and cruise control. I can easily pay to get my windows tinted and install a cruise control, but installing rear A/C and getting adjustable pedals isn't so easy. Overall, I believe this purchase to have been a good one. I'm much more comfortable in my Dodge Grand Caravan than I was in my Honda Civic.

Grand Caravan

Exactly the vehicle the wife was looking for. Gives her to option to take all the grandkids for a ride or to shop til she drops without calling for a truck!
