I test drove the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Nissan Murano to name a few. After test driving some of these vehicles I thought for sure that I would be purchasing one of them and was skeptical at best regarding the purchase of a Dodge. I test drove the Dodge Journey last and was amazed at the ride, quietness, and the room inside. The 6 cylinder has plenty of power for me and very quite engine when driving. The only knock that I have about the vehicle is the stereo. It sounds good but it seems like you lose the signals to radio stations sooner that I used to get locally. If anyone is looking for a nice SUV give the with plenty of room, power and a nice safety record don't let the word Dodge scare you away. Test drive and see for yourself.
I was debating whether or not to get a van or the journey. I have to kids under the age of 3 so needless to say I need space. I am also a young mother and only 27...I wanted to room of a van but the sportiness of a suv. This was right up my alley and I get over 350 miles on a full tank....I LOVE IT!

We purchase my car in March 2012! I couldn't be more excited or pleased. I had test drove it with out my husband along and fell in Deep Like with it. That was the SUV I wanted. Two weeks later it was mine!! I had wanted a vehicle that would be able to hold our 5 grand children if we wanted to take them all some where at same time. This is it! I love that it has built in booster seats for the two youngest!! No more bulky car seats needed.
Plus we like to travel and go out with friends, the journey has room for everything need to travel, plus be able to share driving with friends.
There are so many features with my Journey, I haven't figured them all out yet. A lot of hidden storage areas that is great. I love the feel of the car, smooth ride, no inside noises to speak of, handles well. You would think it was brand new instead of 3 yrs old.
If your looking for a great car for your family, the Dodge Journey could be just perfect for you.
Do frigid temperatures and harsh weather leave you cold on the idea of braving the elements in your car? When you’re piloting a vehicle that’s up to the task, wintertime driving isn’t so much of a challenge. Instead, it can be fun!
